14 Hills, London

About This Project

Located on the 14th Floor of 120 Fenchurch Street, London is the newly opened 14 Hills Restaurant, offering unparalleled views of London within a stunning surrounding.

Described as a “forest in the sky”, the plant-filled restaurant, designed by renowned designer Robert Angell, was fitted out by McCue, as was the dedicated cocktail bar, grab-and-go kiosk, and private dining room.

McCue’s expert team project managed the fit-out including the creation of the bespoke joinery pieces at their 5,500 m2 workshop in Carrickfergus, meticulously planning every detail of the project due to restricted access and the fact the team was working in a live environment, something McCue has perfected over their 65 years.

The Oak was crafted using an in-house stain to complement the jesmonite dome which covers the bar where the team at 14 Hills will create their signature cocktails. American White Oak was used to create the stylish and focal pergolas, which is draped with greenery, creating an outside terrace area within the restaurant.

Brass and antique brass were mixed with specialist antique mirrors throughout, including the stand-alone mirror wall, with banquette cage frames.

Once again, McCue has created, crafted and constructed a truly exceptional space that is worthy of award-winning success.
