Project Description

McCue completed the retail fit-out of the new Urban Outfitters store in Lille, France, located on Rue de Béthune, one of the city’s busiest shopping streets.

The project combined detailed site coordination, quality finishes and bespoke joinery manufactured in McCue’s workshop, delivering a brand-led retail environment that reflects Urban Outfitters’ distinctive identity.

Scope of Works

McCue’s scope included site set-up, surveys, demolition and strip-out works, partitions, ceiling works, firestopping, flooring, decoration, electrical installation, lighting, data cabling, fire alarm works, signage, commissioning and handover.

The project also included the manufacture, delivery and installation of bespoke joinery, including cash wrap and backwrap elements, fitting room structures, mirror frames, hangbars, sales floor fixtures, casework and back-of-house joinery.

Project Highlights

Delivered for Urban Outfitters in Lille, France, the project was completed over a 53-day programme and included 544m² of character grade oak timber flooring. Bespoke joinery was manufactured by McCue before being delivered and installed on site.
