We’re making strides with sustainability.

We are conscious of the environmental impact of our industry and are fully committed to providing sustainable products and services.

Our sustainability initiatives include generating renewable energy through solar panels installed on the roof of our manufacturing facility, sourcing FSC®-certified timber, achieving a waste-to-landfill rate of below 1% and striving for net zero emissions by 2050.

We operate an established system to provide clients with instant environmental, social and economic reports.

We have completed various BREEAM projects throughout Europe, achieving Excellent ratings in locations such as EPR Architects, London , The BoTree Hotel, London and Mountbatten House, Southhampton. We are currently working towards an Excellent rating in Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, Germany.

McCue was appointed as the Principal Contractor for the Progressive Building Society, Newtownards fit out works. This project achieved the first SKA Retail Gold Award within Northern Ireland which was a significant milestone in sustainable fit out.

Sustain IQ® assists us with recording, categorising and formatting the necessary data to comply with BREEAM and SKA requirements.

This improves the visibility of project data and allows us to minimise waste and reduce emissions across scopes one two and three.
