McCue completed the fit-out of The Standard Hotel in King’s Cross, delivering a series of high-specification works across the property. The project covered the main lobby, the Double Standard bar, noted for its playful design, and the foliage-filled Isla restaurant.

The works involved specialist flooring, stone fitting, bespoke joinery, fabric-woven ceilings, and powder-coated finishes. Each element was carefully delivered to meet the hotel’s design ambitions while ensuring durability and functionality.

With 266 guest rooms, ranging from compact Cosy Cores to suites with private terraces and outdoor bathtubs, The Standard has become a landmark in London’s hospitality sector. The project reflects McCue’s ability to deliver complex, design-led interiors to a consistently high standard.
