McCue has completed its latest retail fit-out project for Urban Outfitters in Lille, France.
Located on Rue de Béthune, one of Lille’s key pedestrian shopping streets, the new store sits in a prominent city-centre retail location. The street is widely recognised as one of Lille’s principal commercial routes, connecting Rue du Sec-Arembault with Place de Béthune and sitting close to the Rihour and République Beaux-Arts metro stations.
The project provided another opportunity for McCue to demonstrate its retail fit-out capabilities, delivering a full store environment for one of the world’s most recognisable lifestyle retail brands.
A key element of the project was the bespoke joinery package, which was manufactured in McCue’s workshop before being delivered and installed on site. The programme included a wide range of joinery items, including casework, fitting room doors and jambs, mirror frames, hangbars, sales floor fixtures, cash wrap elements and backwrap features.
The wider fit-out programme covered site set-up, surveys, demolition and strip-out works, partitions, electrical installation, fire alarm works, flooring, decoration, signage, commissioning, cleaning, snagging and final handover.
Situated in one of Lille’s busiest retail areas, the completed Urban Outfitters store brings together brand-led design, detailed coordination and high-quality delivery. From workshop-manufactured joinery through to final installation and handover, the project reflects McCue’s ability to deliver complex retail environments with precision and care.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making this project a success.
