Air Bar 13 opens in Hamburg

13th floor bar with a panoramic view of Hamburg city, the port and Hafencity.

McCue successfully handed over Air Bar 13 for Rhubarb Hospitality Collection in Hamburg on 17th June. This marked the second part of the project, the first being Elemente restaurant on the ground and first floors of the same building.

Working within a complex environment in a European city, the McCue team did not compromise on their standards, completing the job on time and to programme.

Delivering a high-end hospitality fit-out abroad isn't just a build. It's managing materials and labour across borders, coordinating local trades, and holding programme certainty when the variables are stacked against you. Getting two distinct venues out of one building — to the same quality, in sequence — takes planning long before anyone's on site.

That's the work that doesn't show up in the photos. But it's what gets a client open and trading on the day they planned to.
