Peter Mark Flagship Salon

McCue’s tailored projects team is proud to announce the successful completion of Peter Mark’s new flagship store in Blanchardstown shopping centre located in the Republic of Ireland.

As a brand synonymous with setting the standard for haircare excellence for over six decades, Peter Mark continues to captivate customers with their expertise and passion for hair.

The new salon is the result of a merging of two salons on levels one and two into a flagship salon. Every detail of the new salon has been meticulously designed by  Neil Scully and Hugh Wallace of Douglas Wallace to ensure the salon functions with precision to provide their usual unparalleled service.

The stunning glass front offers a glimpse of the illuminated hair haven that lies within. The glowing retail shelves display every hair product one could dream of. The display is clad with tactile Corian and concealed lighting, adding a relaxing golden hour glow that invites you to stay and be pampered forever… all before you’ve even been offered a hot beverage.

To create a serene, spa-like experience the selection of finishes were carefully considered. Classic marble effect porcelain tiles from Italgraniti line the floor.  The walls are finished in a mixture of wall covering and bronze-tinted mirrors to exude a golden air of luxury and sophistication.

The pinnacle of this design is the ceiling, the bulkhead located at the front of the salon curves elegantly from a lower to a higher level and is decorated with bespoke artwork by Dublin-based graphic designers Studio AAD.

The figurative motif of this artwork is continued throughout the salon with illuminated pop-up coffers and dropped ceiling rafts. The sunset tones of the artwork work heighten the golden hour ambience of the salon.

McCue’s scope of works included the fitting of new wall partitions and plasterboard ceilings including a two-meter-high curved bulkhead. Mechanical and electrical works, sprinklers and wall tiling were also completed. Decorative mirror cladding, illuminated signage and graphics were fitted. Specialist work included the installation of the Tektura Digifort artwork and ceiling-to-floor glass concealing the front of the salon.
