Olympia London is undergoing a bold transformation, with a clear ambition to evolve from a historic exhibition venue into a world-class destination for culture, business and entertainment. At the heart of this transformation is a simple but powerful vision: to become the home of remarkable events and extraordinary experiences.
This vision builds on Olympia’s 140-year legacy while reimagining its role in a modern city. No longer positioned solely as a place to host exhibitions, Olympia is being reshaped into a fully integrated, year-round destination where people can work, stay, dine and be entertained in one place.
The development brings together a diverse mix of uses — including a new international convention centre, live entertainment venues, theatre spaces, hospitality and public realm — all designed to create a seamless and immersive visitor experience. This shift reflects a broader move in the events industry, where venues are no longer standalone assets but part of wider ecosystems that prioritise engagement, flexibility and experience.
The £1.3bn redevelopment investment one of the capital’s most ambitious regeneration projects to date, and McCue is currently delivering the fit-out of three key venues within the scheme, helping shape the visitor and event experience across multiple spaces within the new Olympia conference and entertainment offering.
Olympia Live Lounge
The Olympia Live Lounge will become a new live entertainment venue within the development.
McCue is delivering the full interior fit-out, including specialist bar installations, bespoke joinery and high-end hospitality finishes. The works also include structural alterations alongside the installation of new lift and staircase infrastructure and full MEP integration.
Olympia Level 1
On Level 1, McCue is delivering the fit-out of a new auditorium and seminar facilities designed to support conferences, performances and corporate events.
The scope includes tiered seating installations, acoustic treatments and integrated AV systems, alongside new partitions, ceilings and full building services.
Olympia Conference Centre – Level 2
The Level 2 Conference Centre will provide modern delegate and networking spaces within the venue.
McCue’s works include the fit-out of meeting rooms, hospitality areas and circulation spaces, incorporating bespoke joinery, acoustic finishes and integrated building services to support conferences and large-scale events.
