McCue were appointed main contractor to deliver the fit-out of the Lagan Legacy Maritime Museum in Belfast, a dedicated maritime heritage space, multi-use performance venue and café situated on the River Lagan, adjacent to the Waterfront Hall.

Working with designer Graham Moore of Consarc, McCue transformed the space into an immersive, interactive museum celebrating Belfast's dockland and shipyard heritage. Original features including porthole windows, teak flooring, maps, controls, levers and memorabilia were carefully protected during construction before being restored to sit at the heart of the visitor experience.

McCue's bespoke joinery team manufactured and installed custom display systems, workstations and stud partitions to house and conserve significant artefacts from Belfast's industrial past. Materials included softwood, MDF, stainless steel, glass and integrated lighting systems.
