Corian Fabricator

McCue is seeking a Corian Fabricator to join our growing production team.

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out a range of workshop solid surface production within our modern workshop premises, using a variety of equipment and tools.  You will also be required to travel to site to fit items as and when required.

JOB  DETAILS

Responsible to: Production Manager

Responsible for: Producing quality joinery and finishes to items as per client specifications

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. 

Wage level: Competitive salary and remuneration package.

Essential Qualifications: The post holder must have attained a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent).

Essential Experience:

The post holder must have significant previous experience in a similar workshop environment and should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and capability in the area of workshop bespoke joinery in the shopfitting industry. As well as knowledge of solid surfacing fabrication.

JOB  SUMMARY / KEY  TASKS

• Providing a high-quality finish to jobs, in line with job specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping by ensuring that all areas of the workshop are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Adhering to all relevant health & safety requirements specified by the Company
• Interpretation of working drawings and specifications without supervision
• To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO9001, 14001 & 18001, FSC and Investors in People Standards.
• When required work may involve working on a variety of sites throughout Ireland and the UK Mainland.
• Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holder’s competence and operational requirements. Overtime may also be required.
