McCue were contracted to refurbish the Grosvenor Suite at London’s Berkeley Hotel. This elegant and luxurious suite with spacious roof terrace has leafy views over St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, and the rooftops of London.
Created within a glass pavilion, surrounded by a sweeping terrace overlooking Belgravia, the Grand Pavilion Suite combines dramatic space with calm, contemporary luxury detail, by the internationally-renowned interior architect André Fu.
The works involved the demolition of the existing conservatory and replacement of existing terrace coverings. New openings were formed in the external stone façade as well as restoration of existing stone and new planting was incorporated into the terrace.
The existing suite was stripped out, patio doors and windows in the main façade were replaced. Bespoke fitted furniture was installed and mechanical and electrical installations were replaced. Other works included structural steel framing, acoustic flooring, timer, stone and plasterboard walls and ceilings, carpet and timber flooring.
