McCue acts as a principal contractor in each fit-out project. We hold a highly reputable status and maintain a secure client base consisting of architects, designers and end-users across multiple sectors, which gives us added confidence with each project.
For works which are not completed in-house, McCue use vetted sub-contractors who we have established trusted relationships with. These sub-contractors understand our commitment to quality in everything we do.
Within McCue’s 5,500m2 production facility we have bespoke joinery, fabrication and spray workshops. Our team of setting out technicians use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create the initial designs which are then shared with clients for feedback prior to sign off.
Techniques
To ensure the highest quality in all designs, McCue has invested in the latest technology, which produces all designs to the tightest tolerances. This state-of-the-art technology complements the high-calibre craftsmanship of our in-house bespoke joiners, creating beautiful pieces of art.
At McCue, we are proud to offer an in-house training programme, which enables the skills and knowledge that has been built over the last 65 years, to be instilled into our apprentices who are the future of McCue.
Materials
At McCue, our attention to detail when selecting materials (if required) is unrivalled. Our craftsmen select and recommend the most appropriate materials to suit the nature of the project in hand, whether it be veneer, laminates or specialist woods such as sun silk figured sycamore.
These materials are then crafted into bespoke patterns and designs which are exclusive to our clients.
Finishes
Within the environmentally controlled finishing section at McCue, our team has developed a wealth of experience in creating intricate, hand applied finishes mixed with their spraying systems. Through consistent collaboration with our clients, we produce bespoke finishes and colours to achieve their desired look and feel.
Within Northern Ireland, McCue is proud to be one of the first fabricators of Corian and Hi-Macs. These materials are non-porous and don’t support the growth of bacteria or fungi, making them ideal for use in worktops, receptions, counter tops and wall cladding.
