About This Project

McCue recently completed the refurbishment of the IMAX: The Ronson Theatre for the world-renowned Science Museum in London.

Located over five floors McCue’s team stripped out the original theatre and surrounding areas to create a spectacular modernized space.

Within the IMAX cinema, McCues’s team installed new seating, updated acoustic finishes and lighting. They provided support for the installation of the new IMAX equipment to create an enhanced audio-visual experience.

The surrounding areas include the provision of a new Green Room facility and retail counters. McCue’s attention to detail is evident throughout this project in particular with their bespoke joinery which has been crafted in-house.

McCue is proud to have been able to create, craft and construct a new dynamic experience area which will enhance learning and the overall customer experience.
