About This Project
With McCue Crafted Fit’s outstanding reputation for crafting the finest quality bespoke joinery, the company was contracted to fit-out ‘Basalt’, the latest addition to the thriving Ramore Restaurants in Portrush.
With the seaside resort welcoming tourists, celebrities and professional golfers from all across the globe for The 148thOpen Golf Tournament, McCue had the opportunity to showcase their work through the creation of three custom-made servery counters for the new restaurant, which opened just in time for the tournament’s launch.
With each counter uniquely designed by architects O’Donnell O’Neill Design Associates, the brief was to create a rustic, art-deco vibe within the eatery.
Using a mix of tiles, marble, quartzite, oak, satin brass and cork, McCue’s team produced the attractive counters at their 60,000sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Carrickfergus, adding the finishing touches on site before installation.
McCue’s collaboration with the architects throughout this project resulted in a seamless execution.
