06 Apr Ulster Hospital – New Inpatient Ward Block Opens
McCue Crafted Fit has provided bespoke interiors for the new Phase B Inpatient Ward Block at the Ulster Hospital, in particular, for the unique 288 single en-suite bedrooms. The company used the latest ‘Corian’ solid surface material for the walls and surfaces in the en-suite bathrooms, because of its hygienic properties in addition to its durability. This product is thermoformed, with no seams or joints, allowing for tighter infection control with the appropriate upkeep and maintenance.
Les McCracken, Managing Director, McCue Crafted Fit explains: “This has been a fantastic project in Northern Ireland for McCue Crafted Fit. We are delighted to have helped and supply the Ulster Hospital with the finest infection control materials on the market, utilising our bespoke joinery and workmanship.
