About This Project

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics contracted McCue to carry out the complete fit-out of their Oxford Street store adding to our portfolio of work in London. This is their flagship store, the biggest in the world at 9500 sq ft. Not only does it showcase all that is “innovative and inspiring about lush” it also shows off the bespoke joinery skills and fit-out experience that we at McCue have become known for industry-wide.

The works were undertaken with strict SKA sustainability guidelines in place, which is in line with Lush company values. All the wood we used in the construction was FSC® Certified as well as reclaimed wood and vintage buys being used in much of the furniture.

As well as being a must-see retail store, Lush Oxford Street also features a Spa complete with 4 treatment rooms.

At the 2015 Retail Week Interior Awards were delighted to win the Non-Food Design of the Year as well as the overall Retail Interior of the Year for our work in the Oxford Street store in conjunction with Design Time.

Since then we have also completed the fit-out of the Lush store in Bournemouth.
